Confidentiality & Data Protection
Confidentiality
- The services we offer are private and confidential. We will not normally disclose information about you except for the purpose of supervision (which is a professional requirement for psychotherapists) or medical care. The exception for this is if we have reason to believe that someone, especially a child, is at risk of serious harm or if we have a legal duty to disclose information or where disclosure is made at your request or with your consent.
- Any electronic communication, be it text or email, will be with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Data Protection
- Any records and statistics we maintain about clients are kept secure and subject to the General Data Protection Regulations 25th May 2018. Such records are used for the purposes of delivering quality Psychotherapy services and for managing and supervising these services. Your records are held for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
- If we experience any data breaches we will inform you as soon as possible.
